Ten Years of Igniting Change

Welcome
The Red Empress Foundation is committed to investing in nonprofit organizations that strive to create and preserve beauty in the world, inspire peace and education, and serve those in need. We support social entrepreneurial nonprofits that make the world a better place. And we appreciate the grassroots efforts and passion of our nonprofit partners, who share our commitment to igniting change.

Our History
The Red Empress Foundation is a private family foundation established by Gayle Nosal in 2001. The Foundation celebrates the life of Ken Nordling. Ken’s family was his priority in life. He was entirely devoted to his wife, Sally, and children Gayle, Gordon and Greg. Ken served as an example of honor and integrity for his friends and business associates. We remember Ken for his humor, his entrepreneurial courage, and his fun-loving spirit. We remember him by advancing the Red Empress Foundation’s mission.
